Matthew P. Nitch

Principal at ESa

Matt joined ESa in 2001, and has a Master of Architecture degree with Architecture + Health Concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University. In his role as Principal, Matt is an expert multi-tasker who leads design efforts on several concurrent healthcare projects of varying size, scope, and complexity across the United States. In addition to client communication and design team coordination, Matt provides preliminary design and master planning services, medical planning services, building/aesthetic and site design.

Matt communicates with clients, each design team member and consultant at every phase of the project – from schematic design through construction documents, helping to maintain the project design schedule and scope, while balancing efficient workflow and project staffing. Matt believes that excellent client service is demonstrated by “really listening, continuously asking questions and translating what the client has communicated into an original and innovative solution.” Equally important to him, is being “responsive and following through on what we promise to deliver.”

When not in the office or traveling for projects, Matt enjoys working on his house, golfing and taking baseball trips with college friends. Originally from a small lake town in New Jersey, he also looks forward to spending time with family over holidays.
