Anne B. Kroll Stassen

Anne B. Kroll Stassen ’86 earned her bachelor’s from Earlham in psychology and went on to earn master’s and doctoral degrees in education from Harvard. Anne currently serves as the dean of students at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Here responsibilities include strategic visioning of student experience, student enrollment and retention, budget, and maintaining policies and regulations pertaining to student life, student activities, co-curricular programming, academic advising, career development, and student leadership. Anne’s career in higher education has included serving as primary academic adviser in-residence for first-year students at Harvard College, dean of admissions at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and working in student life at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. Anne and her husband Bill ’87 make their home in Philadelphia, where she also serves as a trustee and officer for Germantown Friends School and is a member of the Germantown Monthly Meeting. Anne joined the Board of Trustees in 2017.
