Sarah Cossey

Sarah Cossey has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sarah is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Earlham Institute since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Operations at Earlham Institute since April 2014.

Before joining Earlham Institute, Sarah worked at The Genome Analysis Centre, where they served as the Deputy Director (Operations) from January 2013 to April 2014. Previously at the same organization, they held the role of Finance and Operations Manager from September 2011 to January 2013.

Sarah's earlier experience includes working as a Finance and Project Manager at Archant from September 2008 to September 2011. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Finance and Business Support - OPSI at the National Archives from November 2006 to April 2008.

Sarah's career also includes a tenure at the Cabinet Office, where they worked as the Head of Finance and Business Support from August 1998 to October 2006. Before joining the Cabinet Office, they served as a Management Accountant at East Norfolk Health Authority from November 1996 to July 1998.

Sarah's earliest professional experience was at North Norfolk District Council, where they worked as a Technical Accountant & Auditor from September 1989 to October 1996. Throughout their career, Sarah has held various finance and operations management roles, showcasing their strong expertise in these areas.

Sarah Cossey attended Anglia Ruskin University from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Accountancy - CIPFA.
