Linda Kelly is a researcher at Early Childhood Ireland. Linda has a background in conducting research and analyzing data related to childhood development. Linda has worked on projects investigating the associations between fathers' child-directed speech and child executive function development. Linda has also worked as a temporary research analyst at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI). In this role, they were responsible for reviewing and synthesizing international literature on themes related to childhood for Growing Up in Ireland.
Linda Kelly has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Developmental and Child Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, a Postgraduate certificate in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin, an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin, and a B.A. in Psychology & French with Upper second class honours from Trinity College Dublin. Linda has also received certification from Tusla - Child and Family Agency in Children First E-Learning Programme and from Epigeum in Epigeum (Oxford University Press) Research Integrity course - Irish pilot.
