Marie Lang

Marie Lang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marie worked as the Director of Financial Operations at Early Learning Indiana from December 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Church Administrator at First United Methodist Church from December 2011 to December 2016. Marie held the position of Interim Business Manager & Donor Services at Fletcher Place Community Center from February 2011 to October 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Deacon at Indiana Conference United Methodist Church from 1996 to 2011. Marie Lang was also the Executive Director at United Methodist Foundation of South Indiana from August 2000 to December 2010 and a Board Member at General Board of Church and Society from 2004 to 2008. Further, they held the role of Church Administrator at Roberts Park United Methodist Church from 1995 to 1998 and at Greenwood United Methodist Church from 1992 to 1995. Before their work in the religious sphere, they served as an Instructor at Ivy Tech State College from 1988 to 1992. Lastly, they worked as an Assistant Vice President at American Fletcher/BancOne Securities from 1980 to 1988, where they managed Discount Brokerage units in Indiana and held Gen Prin. and Ops Prin. licenses.

Marie Lang holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree in Theological Studies from Christian Theological Seminary, attending from 1998 to 2000.
