Alex Achs

Alex Achs has a diverse work experience in various security roles. They started their career in 2011 as a Computer Advisor at Apple. In 2013, they joined the US Army as a Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) Operator and served until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at DATASHIELD in multiple roles, including Senior Security Analyst and Director of Security Operations. In 2021, they joined Finance of America Mortgage LLC as the Director of the Security Operations Center. Currently, they are the Director of Threat Management at Early Warning®.

Alex Achs earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2017. Currently, Alex is pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the SANS Technology Institute. Additionally, Alex holds various certifications, including CCNA from Cisco, CompTIA Network+ ce, CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification, and several GIAC certifications obtained from the SANS Technology Institute and SANS Institute.
