Christopher McCormack

Christopher McCormack has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and technical support. Christopher has worked as a Principal Network Engineer at Early Warning® since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at American Express for almost nine years, starting as a Site Engineer with HP and later progressing to the role of Sr. Infrastructure Engineer I. Christopher was responsible for developing and provisioning network solutions, collaborating with business teams, and supporting network infrastructure retrofits. Before that, Christopher worked at AT&T with American Express as a Sr. Network Engineer, managing Cisco routers and switches and troubleshooting connection issues. Christopher also worked as a Network Technician at Kite Networks, where they maintained wireless access points and installed and maintained network equipment for corporate customers. Additionally, Christopher has experience as a Technical Support Representative at eTelecare Global Solutions, resolving customer issues related to software and hardware. Christopher began their career in the US Army as a Senior Node operator, Team leader, and Network/System Administrator, operating and maintaining telecommunications and networking equipment.

Christopher McCormack obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Networking and Distributed Processing from Arizona State University, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Christopher then pursued an Associates in Network Systems Administration from Mesa Community College, specializing in Computers and Internet Technologies, between 2006 and 2008. In 2017 to 2018, they completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Free Code Camp, focusing on Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in software development, APIs, cloud concepts, routing fundamentals, Junos fundamentals, and full stack development from different institutions like LinkedIn, freeCodeCamp, MongoDB, Coursera Course Certificates, and edX.
