Nadine Gaab has an extensive and diverse work experience. Nadine is currently an Associate Professor of Education at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, where they lead research in the intersection of developmental cognitive neuroscience, education, psychology, and educational technology and policy. Nadine also teaches courses on neuroscience, child development, and education. Nadine has been with Harvard since 2007, initially as a Faculty Affiliate and later becoming an Associate Professor.
In 2020, Gaab took on the role of a Jacobs Foundation Advanced Research Fellow, focusing on advanced research in their field.
Nadine is also a Co-Founder/Scientific Advisor at EarlyBird Education, an EdTech company that develops a tablet-based screening tool for early literacy milestones and dyslexia, as well as an instructional platform.
Prior to joining Harvard, Gaab held positions at Harvard-MIT Program in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology, Harvard Medical School, and Boston Children's Hospital. At these institutions, they were involved in various roles, including lecturing, being a faculty affiliate, and holding the position of an Associate Professor. Nadine conducted research at the Labs of Cognitive Neuroscience/Developmental Medicine Center at Boston Children's Hospital and invented the Boston Early Literacy Screener.
Before their time at Harvard, Gaab held postdoctoral positions at MIT and Stanford University.
