Rainer Christine is a partner at Earlybird, a venture capital firm. Rainer has also served as the CEO and co-founder of amaxa AG/amaxa Inc., a company that developed and commercialized Nucleofector technology for the transfection of primary cells and hard-to-transfect cell lines. Under their leadership, the company grew from two founders to 160 employees and generated EUR 20 million in annual sales before being acquired by Lonza in 2008.
