Sohrab Ferdowsi

Sohrab Ferdowsi is a machine learning for image analysis expert currently employed at EarlySight since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the University of Geneva from August 2021 to April 2022, and as a Data Scientist at HEG from May 2020 to April 2022, focusing on applied research in machine learning and information retrieval, particularly in biomedical text analysis. Sohrab's postdoctoral fellowship at Innosuisse involved enhancing an object authentication system using Convolutional Neural Networks, and a prior position as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Geneva included publications in prominent IEEE venues. Sohrab holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Geneva and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on BioElectrics and Signal Processing from Sharif University of Technology.
