Gary Coady has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. 🇮🇪🇩🇰 Gary began their career as a Web Application Developer at NSP Technologies in 2000 and later became a Software Engineer at Critical Path in 2002. In 2006, they joined Google as a Site Reliability Engineer and worked there until 2011.

Gary then moved on to Commodity Vectors, where they served as Chief Technology Officer from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they utilized technologies such as Scala, Akka, MongoDB, AWS APIs, and Protocol Buffers, among others.

Afterwards, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gilt.com from 2014 to 2017, focusing on developing software in Scala and implementing functional programming concepts. 🇮🇪🇩🇰 Gary then joined Hudson's Bay Company in 2017 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they played a key role in implementing and reviewing security protocols and providing training for Scala and functional programming.

Gary Coady pursued their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, from the year 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1996, they completed their high school education at St. Kieran's College in Kilkenny. In addition to their formal education, Gary obtained a certification in "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in November 2012.
