Chris Hovis

Chris Hovis has extensive experience in the investment and technology sectors, currently serving as a Partner on the Equity Investment Team at EARNEST Partners since November 2006, where responsibilities include reviewing investment decisions, conducting technology research, and delivering client presentations. Previously, Chris was recognized as the top Software analyst for stock selection by the Wall Street Journal while working as an Equity Analyst at Morgan Keegan from February 2005 to November 2006. Early career roles include Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Lancope, Analyst positions at CQ Partners and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and various engineering roles at IBM, Alliance Semiconductor, and Intel. Chris holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Wharton School and dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Physics from Centre College.
