Lingchen Sun is a seasoned professional in machine learning and data science with extensive experience in credit risk and predictive modeling. Currently serving as Manager of Machine Learning at EarnIn since November 2018, Lingchen has developed end-to-end credit risk solutions and collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance model and policy effectiveness. Prior roles include Kaggle Expert, achieving notable recognition for projects in Home Credit Default Risk and Instacart Market Basket Analysis, along with a Research Assistant position at the University of Michigan focused on driver distraction detection. Lingchen's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering and a Graduate Data Science Certificate from the University of Michigan, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Energy and Environment System Engineering from Shandong University.
