Mona Shomali

Mona Shomali is the Director of the New Leaders Initiative at Earth Island Institute. Mona has extensive experience as an adjunct faculty instructor at various universities, teaching courses on environmental governance, human rights conflicts, and environmental policy and advocacy. Mona has a Master's degree in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additionally, Mona has worked on international climate research, policy analysis, and case research for human rights issues.
