Earth-Life Science Institute
Naohiro Yoshida is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in geochemistry and life sciences. Currently serving as a Specially Appointed Professor and Fellow at the Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI) since April 2022, Naohiro also holds the position of R&D Advisor at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology since November 2020. The Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI) of Tokyo Institute of Technology was launched in December 2012 as part of the World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT.) The WPI grant is awarded to institutes with research and administrative vision to become globally competitive centers that can attract the best scientists from around the world to come work in Japan.
