Tim Pease

Tim Pease has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering and related fields. Tim began their career in 1996 as an Associate Software Engineer with SRS Technologies. Tim then worked as a Systems Engineer I for Raytheon in 1999 and as a Software Engineer for Cyberlocator Inc. in 2000. In 2007, they joined Collective Intellect as a Software Engineer II, where they developed a new text categorization system. In 2009, they worked as an Associate Scientist III at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences. Tim then worked as a Software Engineer at LinkSmart, Inc. from 2010-2012. From 2012-2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub, where they designed the search architecture, implemented a system for zero-downtime upgrades, and developed a query language. From 2019-2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe, where they improved systems and mentored junior engineers. Tim is currently employed as a Staff Software Engineer at EOI Space.

Tim Pease obtained a BS in Physics and Mathematics from Oral Roberts University in 1995, followed by an MS in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999.
