Rob Down

Rob Down has extensive experience in civil engineering, currently serving as the Managing Principal for Central Coast Operations and Principal Engineer at Earth Systems Pacific since July 1998. Between 2008 and March 2019, Rob contributed to education as a part-time lecturer at Cal Poly State University, teaching courses in soil mechanics, foundations, and civil engineering materials. Additionally, Rob acted as a mentor for EWB-USA from 2008 to 2013 and began a career as a staff engineer at Miller Pacific Engineering Group from 1995 to 1998. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned between 1989 and 1994.
