Chau Tang-Duncan has a wealth of professional experience in the finance and sustainability industries. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Senior Relationship Manager at ANZ in the Corporate & Business Bank, where they developed new business opportunities and managed a loan portfolio of A$120M. Chau then moved to Bankwest as a Business Development Manager in the Commercial Banking division, where they managed a portfolio of A$200M and increased cross sales and client advocacy. In 2007, they joined the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) as a Senior Investment Adviser in Clean Energy, and then as a Trade Commissioner in Malaysia & Brunei, ASEAN Clean Energy & Environment, and Senior Advisor in Financial Services. In 2015, they joined Regional Development Australia - Northern Rivers as a Committee Board Member and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) as Director of Investment for Australia and New Zealand. In 2018, they became an International Consultant for SDGs at Ecoplan Consulting and COO at Earthbanc. In 2019, they took on the role of Head of Government Relations & Partnerships at the Blockchain & Climate Institute and Non Executive Director of Partnerships at the Worldview Impact Foundation.

Chau Tang-Duncan obtained their Masters of Environment from Griffith University in 2014, specializing in Economics and Policy. Chau previously obtained their Bachelor of Business from Monash University in 1997, specializing in Banking and Finance. In 2012, they obtained their Responsible Leaders Network - Europe Asia Young Leaders Forum Alumni certification from the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
