Daniel Savery

Senior Legislative Representative at Earthjustice

Daniel Savery began their career as an intern for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights before taking on a role as a project assistant with the Equal Justice Initiative. In 2006, they became a reader for the Hon. David S. Tatel of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The following year, they began working as a StateStat Analyst for the Office of Governor Martin O'Malley.

In 2009, Savery transitioned to the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation where they served as the Director of Performance Management & Consumer Protection in the Office of the Secretary. In 2015, they became the Chief of Staff for the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs in the U.S. Department of Labor. Most recently, Savery has been working as a Senior Advisor on the Committee on Labor and Workforce Development for the Council of the District of Columbia since 2017.

Daniel Savery's educational career includes a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
