Dustin Renaud

Dustin Renaud is a seasoned communications professional with a robust background in climate advocacy and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Public Affairs and Communication Strategist at Earthjustice since October 2022, Dustin previously held the role of Director of Programs and Strategic Communication at Climate Nexus. From August 2017 to December 2022, Dustin directed communications efforts for Healthy Gulf. Earlier career experiences include co-founding Freesource, where oversight of freelancer relations and business operations took place, and working as an Associate at DEVENEY to transition into agency communications. Notable early roles include Program Manager for the National Audubon Society, where grassroots organizing during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill marked a significant contribution, and Community Relations and Development with Habitat for Humanity of the MS Gulf Coast. Dustin holds a BA in Communications from The University of Southern Mississippi, earned in 2008.
