Rachel DeHaemer

QA Specialist at EarthOptics

Rachel DeHaemer has held various roles in the past few years. In 2019, they were an Intern at the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, and a Program Leader for the Alternative Break Program. In 2020, they were a Supplemental Instructor and Research Assistant at American University, and a Data Management Intern at Jubilee Housing. In 2021, they were an Information Analysis Intern at IOM - UN Migration, and a Program and Data Intern at Alliance for African Assistance. Currently, they are a Climate Change Adaptation Intern at Conservation International, and a QA Specialist at EarthOptics. At Conservation International, they coordinate with country staff from Colombia, Cambodia, and New Caledonia to develop water security monitoring and evaluation protocols, and harmonizes household survey data to assess climate change risk and identify any unequal vulnerabilities of indigenous populations.

Rachel DeHaemer is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a Minor in Data Science from American University, which they began in 2018 and is expected to finish in 2022.
