Matt Burgess

Matt Burgess has extensive experience in various roles related to geodetic surveying, marine technology, paleontology, and seismic analysis. Currently working as an Interim engineer/ Permitting assistant at EarthScope Consortium, Matt's past roles include Hydrographic Instrumentation Technician at the County of San Diego, Marine Technician at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and Field Paleontologist at San Diego Natural History Museum. With a background in geophysical and geodetic research, Matt's expertise lies in seismic analysis, data interpretation, and public safety communication.
