Robotics Engineer at EarthSense

Leonardo Bonacini has extensive work experience in the field of robotics and research. Leonardo served as a Robotics Engineer at EarthSense, Inc. starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at Centro de Robótica da USP - CROB from September 2021 to July 2023. Leonardo also held roles as a Researcher at Universidade de São Paulo from January 2018 to September 2021, where they focused on developing fusion algorithms for navigation using cameras and GPS. Leonardo completed an internship during February 2019 to July 2019 at the same institution. Additionally, Leonardo served as a Professor at Claretiano - Rede de Educação from August 2019 to November 2019 and as a Technology Teacher at Projeto Semente - USP from July 2018 to December 2018.

Leonardo Bonacini has an extensive educational background in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Leonardo began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo (IFSP) between 2017 and 2022. During the same period, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at the USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they completed in 2022.

Additionally, Leonardo completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Data Science and Analytics from MBA USP/Esalq in 2022, demonstrating their interest in business applications of their engineering expertise.

Before focusing on advanced degrees, Leonardo obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from IFSP between 2012 and 2014.

Leonardo has also sought additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2022, they obtained a certification in "Fundamentals of Deep Learning" from NVIDIA. Prior to that, in 2021, they earned a certification in "Android Mobile Development" from Digital House Brasil.

With their comprehensive educational background, Leonardo Bonacini possesses a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and has additionally developed expertise in data science, analytics, deep learning, and mobile development.
