Colorado Field Advocate at EARTHWORKS

Andrew Klooster is an experienced environmental advocate currently serving as the Colorado Field Advocate for Earthworks since July 2020, where responsibilities include leading advocacy campaigns, utilizing advanced imaging technology for regulatory oversight, and public education on air quality issues. Previous positions include Colorado Organizer for Denver VOICE and Program Coordinator for Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, where outreach and grant management were key duties. Andrew's background also includes research positions at the University of Michigan focusing on sustainability and environmental justice, as well as experience as a Field Organizer for the Ohio Democratic Party and a Research Assistant at the Ecology Center. Andrew holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan.
