Aurea Kasberg

Deputy Energy Team Director at EARTHWORKS

Aurea Kasberg is a professional with extensive experience in leadership and research. Currently serving as the Deputy Energy Team Director and Field Team Manager at EARTHWORKS since July 2022, Aurea previously held roles as a Project Specialist and Project Associate at the National LGBT Cancer Network from April 2019 to June 2022. At Pomona College, Aurea managed the Coop Store, overseeing the hiring and training of over 40 student employees, in addition to researching the lives of sex workers in the Dominican Republic as part of a funded project. During earlier roles at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Aurea contributed to projects focused on detecting Near Earth Asteroids. Academically, Aurea holds a degree in Latin American Studies and History from Pomona College and is currently pursuing a Master of Library Science at the University of Vermont Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources.
