John Hoagland

John Hoagland is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Since January 2018, John has served as Chair at the Advisory Board Food Processing Innovation Center at Michigan State University. As the Owner of Tamarack Holdings LLC, established in September 2015, John manages a holding company for multiple sub-entities. In addition, John co-owns Virtual Worlds IP, collaborating with Numedeon to monetize virtual patents while advocating for a positive assertion model over patent trolling. John's entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in ownership roles at Cherry Capital Foods, Earthy Delights, and Food for Thought, alongside significant involvement with several boards and committees including the Groundwork Center and the Food & Farm Fund. An alumnus of Michigan State University, John has a diverse educational background with degrees in economics, political science, and African studies.
