East Action Organization (EAO) is a women-led, youth-focused national nonprofit organization founded in 2019 and headquartered in Jigjiga, Somali Regional State, Ethiopia, with a liaison office in Addis Ababa. Guided by the motto “Action for Betterment,” EAO works to empower vulnerable communities through integrated humanitarian, development, and resilience programs.

We aim to advance gender equality, youth leadership, sustainable livelihoods, and climate resilience by promoting inclusive participation, innovation, and local ownership.
