Elia Timotheo has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2010 with the Kibo Palace Group as a Forex Bureau. In 2011, Elia worked as a Field Representative for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Co-operatives - Tanzania Agricultural Research. In 2012, Elia was a Junior Accountant at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs. In 2010, Elia founded and became the CEO of 7 Stars Computers Limited, where they sold more than 600 laptops and computers until they left the company. In 2013, Elia co-founded AMEJ Investment Limited, a Processing and Distribution company, and participated as a board member and minority shareholder. Also in 2013, Elia founded and became the CEO of EA Fruits. Finally, Elia has been an Advisory Board Member for Changbay Sonic Hotels since 2008, where they have advised on the financial operations and policies overview of the company, helping it expand from 3 restaurants to 4.

Elia Timotheo has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Finance and Accounting from Chuo Kikuu Mzumbe from 2010 to 2013, and a Certified Public Auditor -CPA (T) from the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) - Tanzania from 2013 to 2018 in Accounting and Finance, Business Management. Elia Timotheo has also obtained additional certifications such as SEED Africa Winner from SEED - Promoting entrepreneurship for sustainable development in September 2015, TEEP2015 from The Tony Elumelu Foundation in July 2015, SANKAP Africa Awards from Intellecap in February 2015, and Growing SME - Tanzania from BiD Network Foundation in November 2013.
