Irene Gitau holds a strong background in human resources with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Employee Experience & Outsourced Labor Business Partner at East African Breweries PLC since March 2022, Irene is dedicated to driving the people and culture agenda and managing employee benefits programs. Previous roles include Reward Specialist and HRBP for the Supply unit at East African Breweries, as well as Human Resources Consultant at IKONIC Agricultural Machinery. Irene has also worked at Deloitte East Africa as a Business Shared Service & Payroll Associate and held positions at Diageo and Petrocity Enterprises, focusing on employee benefits, HR processes, and team operations across multiple East African markets. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management and a Higher Diploma in Business Management from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
