Saul Olivas

Saul Olivas currently serves as Vice President and School Board Member for East Aurora School District 131 and has held the position of Dual Language Teacher at Community Unit School District 308 since August 2020. With a background in education that includes various roles such as Dual Language Teacher, First Grade Bilingual Teacher, and Elementary Tutor, Saul has extensive experience in bilingual and multilingual education. Previous positions at Sears Holdings Corporation included leadership roles in merchandising, customer service, and associate training, demonstrating strong management skills. Saul holds a Bilingual/ESL Endorsement from the University of St. Francis, a Master of Education from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Illinois Chicago, and an Associate's degree in Biology from Waubonsee Community College.
