Joshawna Williams

JoShawna Williams is an experienced educational leader with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal at East Baton Rouge Parish School System since August 2020, JoShawna has held multiple roles within the district, including Assistant Principal and District Instructional Specialist. Prior to this, JoShawna was a Mathematics Educator and Team Leader at COMMUNITY SCHOOL FOR APPRENTICESHIP LEARNING INC. from July 2013 to August 2020 and held similar positions at Spring Independent School District from July 2006 to June 2013. JoShawna began teaching at East Baton Rouge Parish School System in August 2001. JoShawna holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, both from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge.
