Makeba Guidry Payne

Makeba Guidry Payne is an experienced educational diagnostician currently serving in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System since July 2022. Prior to this role, Makeba worked as an educator for the St. Landry School Board from August 2004 to July 2022. Makeba holds an Educational Diagnostician Certification in Special Education from Northwestern State University, obtained between 2013 and 2015, a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Southern University A&M earned in 2009, and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Southern University A&M completed in 2004.
