Monique Scott-Spaulding

Monique Scott-Spaulding is a native of Baton Rouge and a graduate of Redemptorist High School and LSU. She is a serial entrepreneur who has launched three businesses and has coached more than 30 entrepreneurs to launch businesses in four Southern states. She serves on several nonprofit boards with mission alignment to business, industry, education, workforce development, arts, female empowerment and entrepreneurship. She is a founding school board member for Basis Baton Rouge and Franciscan High School (formerly Cristo Rey Franciscan Catholic High School). She is the recipient of several honors, such as the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report’s Top 40 Under 40 and Influential Woman in Business. Scott-Spaulding received the Jensen Holliday Service Award from the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. Scott-Spaulding is a widow and, while she does not have any children, she is the godmother of 12. She enjoys traveling nationally and abroad. Her hobbies include listening to music, reading and serving others.
