Suguna Mayweather

Suguna Mayweather currently serves as the Director of Academic Program Initiatives at Baton Rouge Community College since May 2025, and as an Academic Supervisor in the Office of the Chief of Staff at East Baton Rouge Parish School System since August 2021. In the latter role, Suguna develops and executes strategies for superintendent special projects while leading and mentoring a district team on high-level coursework. Previous positions include Academic Supervisor and Associate Degree Academic Coordinator at McKinley Senior High School, Administrator and Associate Athletic Director, and Magnet Recruiting Coordinator at East Baton Rouge Parish School System, as well as Account Executive at Cox Media and Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Genentech. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from LSU Shreveport, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology from Louisiana State University and Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
