Alia Kuhnert

Alia Kuhnert is an accomplished music educator and trumpet performer with extensive teaching experience. Currently serving as a Trumpet, Brass and Musicianship Teacher at East Bay Center for the Performing Arts since September 2022, Alia also holds a position as a Brass Instructor at SCHOOLS OF THE SACRED HEART-SAN FRANCISCO since September 2020 and has been a valued member of the trumpet faculty at Cazadero Performing Arts Camp since 2016. In addition to private teaching since 2006, Alia was a Trumpet Teaching Artist with Enriching Lives through Music from August 2021 to February 2023 and worked as a Teaching Artist for the Harmony Program from 2014 to 2019. Alia's educational background includes a Doctorate of Musical Arts and a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Stony Brook University, complemented by a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music.
