Feliz Ventura is a seasoned professional in sustainable economics and clean energy solutions, currently serving as the Programs Lead for Local Development Programs at Ava Community Energy since February 2022. In this role, Feliz directs efforts to create and implement programs that promote equitable clean energy transitions. Prior to this, Feliz held the position of Infrastructure Director for Climate Change & Sustainability at Hatch, where leadership involved managing multidisciplinary teams to develop climate adaptation strategies. With extensive experience at AECOM in various roles focused on sustainable economics, and a background in clean technology program management with the Washington State Department of Commerce, Feliz has demonstrated a strong capacity for strategic planning and project development in the climate change arena. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Policy from UC San Diego and a BA in International Relations from Pomona College, complemented by research fellowships and consulting roles related to sustainable development.

East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local public electricity supplier in Alameda County and in the City of Tracy. EBCE is providing clean, green energy at low rates to our 635,000 customers. EBCE reinvests earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. EBCE member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by EBCE.
