Jason Zeng currently serves as a Junior Management Assistant for the City and County of San Francisco since 2024, bringing prior experience as an Associate Contract Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from 2021 to 2023. Before that, Jason worked as an Agriculture Inspector for the Montana Department of Agriculture between 2017 and 2020 and began their career as an Editor for SF Tech Beat from 2014 to 2016. Jason Zeng holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local public electricity supplier in Alameda County and in the City of Tracy. EBCE is providing clean, green energy at low rates to our 635,000 customers. EBCE reinvests earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. EBCE member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by EBCE.
