Kentaro Kawasaki is an experienced professional in the fields of human resources and education, currently serving as a Human Resources Intern at Ava Community Energy since June 2023, where responsibilities include performance management, recruitment, and diversity initiatives. Previously, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Francisco State University, Kentaro facilitated the education of approximately 150 students in intermediate psychological statistics. Kentaro's background also includes serving as a Special Education Needs Specialist and Program Coordinator at Wellspring International Bilingual School, where work involved enhancing students' academic and non-academic experiences, and as a Human Resources Intern and Business Development Junior Associate at Sovico Group. Kentaro holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Political Science from San Diego State University.

East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local public electricity supplier in Alameda County and in the City of Tracy. EBCE is providing clean, green energy at low rates to our 635,000 customers. EBCE reinvests earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. EBCE member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by EBCE.
