Sofi Hecht is a skilled marketing professional with extensive experience in content creation and communication strategies. Currently serving as a Senior Coordinator for Marketing Content at Ava Community Energy, Sofi previously held various leadership roles at Catahoula Coffee Company, overseeing marketing, communications, and customer success. Additional experience includes managing marketing and communications for Anaviv Catering & Events and working as a website and graphics designer as a self-employed professional. Sofi also has experience in teaching and research, with roles at Logos English Camp, the Middle East Institute, and Middlebury College. Sofi holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy from Middlebury College and is currently pursuing further education at Mohammed V University in Rabat.

East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local public electricity supplier in Alameda County and in the City of Tracy. EBCE is providing clean, green energy at low rates to our 635,000 customers. EBCE reinvests earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. EBCE member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by EBCE.
