Iara Peng

Iara Peng is a prominent leader in social justice philanthropy, serving as the Founder and CEO of JustFund since March 2017, where the platform facilitates direct funding to organizations promoting social and racial justice. Additionally, Iara Peng is a Board Member of the Donors of Color Network and the East Bay Community Foundation, focusing on building collective power and advancing racial equity. Iara Peng also founded the Democratizing Philanthropy Project and Prism, both aimed at empowering underfunded BIPOC-led organizations and amplifying marginalized voices in media. With previous experience as Co-Founder of the Emergent Fund and Director of Strategy and Operations at Solidaire, Iara Peng has played a key role in supporting social movements. Iara Peng holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from Rollins College.
