Clay Simmons

Clay Simmons, P.E., is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in civil and structural engineering. As the Principal Engineer and Owner of Simmons Engineering since November 2010, Clay provides design services for residential and small commercial projects and specializes in expert witnessing for legal matters. In addition to this role, Clay serves as the Civil Engineer and Engineer-of-Record for the East Bay Regional Park District, managing design projects across numerous parks in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Previous positions include Principal Engineer at Jax Kneppers Associates Inc., Lead Project Engineer at Allied Container Systems, and Associate Engineer at MKM & Associates, among others. Clay's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian, both from Brigham Young University.
