Eugenia Coronado

VP, Specialty Services & Patient Experience at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center

At EBNHC, Eugenia oversees the Specialty, OBGYN, Nutrition, Vision, Optical, Dental and Interpreter Services departments. Eugenia also oversees the health center’s new Patient Experience department, which liaises between patients and the health center to address concerns and ensure patient satisfaction.

Eugenia joined EBNHC in 2017 as Administrative Director for Specialties and Projects before expanding her role to include administrative oversight of the OBGYN department. Following the merger with South End Community Health Center in 2020, Eugenia served as Assistant Vice President of Operations for Specialties, OBGYN and Women’s Health and South End Primary Care, and was responsible for daily operations of the South End Primary Care clinic. During this time she also served as a liaison to all other departments within South End.

Prior to joining EBNHC, Eugenia spent 10 years at Boston Medical Center (BMC) in the Department of Medicine and Department of Surgery, where she was responsible for Pre-Procedure Clinic and General Surgery for the hospital.

Eugenia was born and raised in Brazil and is bilingual and bicultural in Portuguese and English. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literature from Universidade Potiguar, Brazil; a post-graduate degree in Applied Linguistics from Faculdade de Filosofia do Recife, Brazil; and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Quincy College. Eugenia completed the BioDiversity Fellow Program with The Partnership Inc. in 2019. Eugenia is EQi 2.0 certified as an emotional intelligent practitioner, which she uses to help others develop their emotional intelligence skills and abilities as professionals and leaders.

In 2021, she completed a Fellow Program in Health Policy from George Washington University.
