Michael A. Mancusi

VP & Chief Behavioral Health Officer at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center

As Chief Behavioral Health Officer, Michael Mancusi provides oversight to the health center’s innovative Behavioral Health Department offerings, including an integrated model of care within primary care departments. Michael is also a licensed, practicing behavioral health clinician who intentionally specializes in the integrated model of behavioral health care and trains primary care and behavioral health providers in its optimal implementation. He oversees a broad spectrum of departments at EBNHC including Interpreter Services, Addiction Services, HIV Services (Project SHINE), and various community engagement efforts, including the health center’s Community Resource & Wellness Center and the Student Wellness Center at East Boston High School. Michael was also instrumental in the creation of EBNHC’s COVID-19 testing department and provides ongoing oversight to operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Providence College and a master’s degree from Simmons College School of Social Work. Michael has been with the health center for more than 35 years.
