Marcela Maldonado serves as the Chief Program Officer at East Boston Social Centers, overseeing staff and strategic planning for various programs targeting different age groups, from early learners to active adults. Prior to this role, Marcela held the position of Vice President for Pathway Programs at Tenacity, managing school-based programming aimed at bridging the opportunity gap for over 900 students annually. Marcela's experience includes roles as Chief of Staff at Project Bread, Director of Strategy at Be The Change, Inc., and Dean of Students at Noble and Greenough School. Additionally, Marcela directed the Math-Science Upward Bound Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston and worked in admissions at Wellesley College and Boston College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University, along with studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
