Angel Albanese

Angel Albanese has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Angel started their career in 1978 as a Senior Audit Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and later held various finance and administrative roles at companies like PrePress Solutions, VocalTec, and XOsoft, Inc. In 1999, they became the Director of Finance and Operations at VocalTec. In 2001, they joined Internet Photonics as a Controller and later moved on to Geodis Wilson USA, Inc. as both a Controller and the Director of Compliance and Risk Management. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Plant Controller at Kerry before transitioning to the public sector. Angel served as the Director of Finance and Revenue, Chief Financial Officer, and Qualified Purchasing Agent for the City of South Amboy and the South Amboy Redevelopment Agency in New Jersey from 2015 to 2018. Angel then became the Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Purchasing Agent for East Brunswick Township in 2018. Additionally, they have also been involved in public service as a Councilwoman at Large for the Township of Clark since 2000.

Angel Albanese obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 1973 to 1978. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Qualified Purchasing Agent from the Department of Community Affairs - Department of Local Government Services - New Jersey in December 2017, CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) from the Office of Emergency Management in Clark, New Jersey in February 2016, Certified Municipal Finance Officer from the State of New Jersey in December 2013, ASQ - Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ in December 2012, and Certified Public Accountant from the New York State. Angel also holds certifications in Personal First Aid/CPR and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
