Alan Mond

President at East Coast Microwave

Alan Mond has worked in the electronics industry since 1992. Alan began their career as Distribution Manager at IQD Frequency Products Ltd. Alan then moved to IQD Frequency Products Inc as Vice President & General Manager, where they launched and grew operations in North America to $2M in 2 years. In 2000, they became Vice President Sales & Marketing at Clarisay, where they built a global sales team and established strategic partnerships with top handset and chipset manufacturers. From 2002 to 2012, they were President and Founder of Intumescent Technologies Inc, a US arm of Envirograf. Alan then moved to Sand 9, Inc. as Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing, where they drove strategic growth for the early-stage, pre-revenue startup. In 2015, they took over as President and CEO at East Coast Microwave Sales & Distribution LLC and successfully completed the sale of the company to Powell Electronics Inc. Alan then spearheaded the post acquisition strategy, which included outlining strategic growth plans with all major franchised lines.

Alan Mond received their B.Tech in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Harlow Technical College between 1979 and 1983. Alan also attended Harvard Business School, where they completed courses in Negotiations for Executives and Dealing with Difficult People and Difficult Situations.
