Jean Sawaya

Jean Sawaya has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 35 years. Jean is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at East Energy Renewables, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Managing Director at Kronos Project Management Group Inc. from 2009 to 2021. Jean co-founded and served as Managing Director of First Columbia Energy Holdings Inc. from 2012 to 2017. Before embarking on their entrepreneurial ventures, Jean held senior management positions at MAN Diesel, MAN Diesel Canada Ltd., Stone & Webster, Agra Monenco, SNC Lavalin, and Six Construct. Their roles ranged from Vice President - Project Management to Project Engineer.

Jean Sawaya earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1985. Jean then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Construction Management from the same university, which they completed in 1986.
