East Georgia Regional Medical Center provides generations of families in the Statesboro area and surrounding communities with quality care, close to home. We are dedicated to delivering technologically advanced medical attention in a respectful, caring environment. Our medical center is equipped with 149 patient rooms, all of which are private and furnished with full bathrooms, telephones, Wi-Fi and televisions.

East Georgia Regional Medical Center features a Women’s Pavilion and an adjacent professional office building. Our healthcare team consists of approximately 600 employees and over 95 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The expansion of medical services and an increase in professional staff, along with our investment in technology, has established our reputation for setting a higher medical standard. We offer a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, outpatient services including same day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain center, wound healing center, cardiac catheterization lab, and an advanced imaging department including nuclear medicine, MRI, 64-slice CT, PACS and PET scans.

As a Joint Commission accredited hospital, East Georgia Regional Medical Center is concerned for the care and safety of our patients. East Georgia Regional Medical Center is owned in part by physicians.
