Gill Kneller

Gill Kneller is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with extensive leadership roles in local government, currently serving East Hampshire District Council since March 2022. Previous positions include Chief Executive Officer for both East Hampshire District and Havant Borough Councils from January 2019 to March 2022 and Executive Director of Business and Commercial Services from October 2010 to January 2019. Other notable roles include Head of Marketing and Development and Head of Environmental Services at East Hampshire, as well as various positions at Taunton Deane Borough Council, West Somerset Council, and Reading Borough Council. Gill Kneller holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and a Master’s degree in Environmental Risk Management from the University of Wales, along with postgraduate diplomas in Health and Safety and Management Studies.
