A.Alexander (Juan) Ball is an experienced educator and founder with a focus on mathematics and college readiness. Currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher at East Harlem Scholars Academies since August 2020 and as the Founder of BlackPrideLLC, which supports students in grades 7-12 in math and college preparation, A.Alexander has a diverse background in teaching roles across various schools, including positions as a College Prep Coach at Blueprint Summer Programs and a Math Coach at College Track. A.Alexander's prior experience includes teaching middle school and high school mathematics, as well as specialized coaching for career and college readiness. A.Alexander holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University and has obtained degrees in Creative Writing and Criminal Justice from Towson University and Coppin State University, respectively.
